The Tengul Puppet (Wayang Thengul)

The Papak Puppet or Smacking Puppet (Wayang Papak/WayangCepak)

The Ajen Puppet (Wayang Ajen)

"Ajen"  is the term is taken from Sundanese which means "ngajenan". "Ngajenan" means something given respect or honor or award.
Puppet Ajen gain recognition as a form of performance art part of cultural heritage objects, Educational, Scientific, and Cultural United Nations (UNESCO). "Recognition appear due our appear in  International Festival Bucheon World Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo (Biche) in Bucheon City, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, September 28 to October 2, 2010," says puppeteer ajen, Wawan Gunawan.

Ajen puppet show had the opportunity three times, with the play "Sinta Ilang", "Rahwana Gugur", and "Sinta Obong" of the Ramayana story. The Krucil Puppet (Wayang Krucil)

Puppet Krucil is the kind of puppets made of flat wood. The Hand puppets are created from carved leather. Unlike the other puppets, puppet Krucil have handles made of the continuation of the ingredient. Krucil puppet, reputedly first time an created by Prince Pekik from Surabaya.

In the area of Central Java Krucil puppet has a shape similar to a puppet Gedog. The characters wear dodot rapekan, use kris, and use headgear tekes (fan). Meanwhile, in East Java, his characters much resembling a Purwa puppets, kings crown and wear Praba. In Central Java, a figures of  the king using a Keling coil or Garuda Mungkur only.

The story used in the puppet Krucil generally take from the time of Panji Kudalaleyan in Pajajaran until the time of King UB in Majapahit. However, it is possible Krucil puppet using the story puppet Purwa and puppet Menak, even from the ground Javanese chronicle though.

Gamelan who used to accompany the puppet show is very simple, and rhythmically-barreled slendro playon bangomati (srepegan). However, sometimes puppets Krucil using gendhing gendhing-large, such as puppet Krucil Surakarta palace whose whole body was made of leather.

There are many who argue that the puppet Krucil similar to puppet klithik. That's because puppet Krucil same based on  as klithik  puppet that is made of wood. But not the same in form, the form of puppet Krucil smaller than the puppet klithik.

Marionette Puppet Menak (Wayang Golek Menak)

This puppet was created by Ki Trunadipura, a puppeteer from Baturetno, Surakarta, during the reign of Mangkunegara VII (1916-1944). Parent story was not taken from the Book of the Ramayana and Mahabharata, but from the Book of Menak. The background story Menak is  Arab country, during the struggle of the Prophet Muhammad spread the religion of Islam. Although the story is actually an Arab character and background of the story is also the Arab culture, visual aids Marionette Puppet Menak given clothes similar to Puppet Purwa, among others, by giving him kuluk, diadem, sumping, etc.. The story of Menak  adapted from Persian literature, from the title Qissai EMR Hamza. This book was created during the reign of Sultan Harun al-Rashid (766-809). Prior to the adaptation of Javanese language, the book was first known in Malay literature, under the title Hikayat Amir Hamzah. Javanese language version, the contents of the book was already mingling with the Panji stories. The names of characters in a Marionette Puppet Menak also been adapted to the Javanese tongue. For example, the name Badi'ul Zaman was changed to Imam  Suwangsa; Omar Bin Omar Umayyad into Maya; Mihrnigar become Goddess Retna Muninggar; Qoraishi become Goddess Kuraisin, etc.

The main character, EMR Hamza (Amir Hamza), which in Marionette Puppet Menak called Amir Ambyah or Wong Supreme Jayengrana and many other,  hostile with King Nusirwan of the Kingdom Medayin . The Klithik Puppet (Wayang Klithik)

Puppet Klithik first created by Prince Pekik, duke of Surabaya, made of leather and shaped small so it is more often called a puppet Krucil. Then in the development of Islam in Java, some Century 16-17. puppet klitik was created by Sunan Kudus. Puppet is called klitik since it implies SMALL (Klitik), which is made of wood flat (two dimensional). Klithik puppet has a handle made of wood.
