The Ajen Puppet (Wayang Ajen)

Puppet Ajen gain recognition as a form of performance art part of cultural heritage objects, Educational, Scientific, and Cultural United Nations (UNESCO). "Recognition appear due our appear in International Festival Bucheon World Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo (Biche) in Bucheon City, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, September 28 to October 2, 2010," says puppeteer ajen, Wawan Gunawan.
Ajen puppet show had the opportunity three times, with the play "Sinta Ilang", "Rahwana Gugur", and "Sinta Obong" of the Ramayana story. To facilitate interaction with the audience, the show was given an introduction in English, then translated in Korean. that explains about the moral content contained therein, namely: "The moral and cultural diplomacy, as a bridge of friendship between nations through the performing arts, is an attempt telling". All team members, amounting to 10 people could even sing the Korean song, "Arirang".
Ajen puppet show is the result of collaboration from shadow play with show raree. puppets from fiberglass, dance, and musical compositions in a show. In in his staging, also supported the artistic arrangement of the stage, the harmony of lighting, and costumes harmony.
